What should I do if Volotea makes changes to my flight?

At Volotea, we try to avoid any changes or cancellation of our flights. Regardless, on very specific occasions and for various reasons (adverse weather, operational adjustments, force majeure, etc.), every airline including Volotea sees itself obligated to change the time of scheduled flights or to cancel specific flight legs.

If your flights are affected by a change or cancellation because of Volotea, we will get in touch with you via the email address or telephone associated with your booking.
If your booking was made through a travel agency, the agency will be responsible for notifying you of any changes or cancellations.

Depending on the type of change, we will give you the details of your new flight or we will offer you other alternatives that you can manage in the Manage Your booking section.


All reimbursements and alternatives that we offer you will be subject to European Community Regulations (including, among others, EC Regulation No. 261/2004).

If you accept an alternative to reimbursement, the corresponding Conditions of Carriage will apply.

In any event, if your flight is affected by a change or cancellation because of Volotea, we sincerely apologize in advance. We'll do whatever we can to avoid said changes, and in the event that these occur we will be sure to look for the alternative that best suits your needs.
